Buod: Rehistrado sa SEC ang Tekcash at mataas ang rating sa app stores, pero may mga reklamo tungkol sa mataas na singil at paraan ng paniningil.

What do Tekcash loan review complaints say?
1. Cost of borrowing
The biggest source of confusion is price. Tekcash’s App Store listing shows a maximum APR of 36% and a ₱20,000, 120-day example costing ₱960 in interest. Its Google Play listing shows a maximum APR of 144%, a monthly effective interest cap of 12%, and a ₱20,000, 120-day example with ₱2,640 interest plus a ₱5,280 service fee, or ₱27,920 in total. That is an added ₱7,920 on ₱20,000 over four months, about 40% of the amount borrowed. Some borrowers say the service fee makes loans costlier than they expected, while others say the installment schedule is manageable. Our Tekcash interest rate guide breaks down both sets of figures.
2. Short repayment schedules on early loans
Some reviewers on third-party app pages describe a first or second payment due after about 7 to 14 days, and one reviewer called the cost for a 14-day period very high. These are individual accounts we cannot verify, and the store listings show much longer terms, so check the due dates in your disclosure statement before you accept.
3. Collection messages
A Google Play reviewer in August 2026 described collector messages as rude even before the due date, and Tekcash replied that harassment is strictly prohibited and that collectors only have access to overdue accounts. We cover public reports and what to do in our guide on Tekcash harassment.
4. Regulatory history
In June 2024, the SEC issued cease and desist orders against six lending companies, including Tekwang Lending Corp., for compliance and reporting failures such as the complaints handling mechanism, according to Inquirer and BusinessWorld. The SEC registry lists Tekcash as registered as of September 2026.

Who should and should not borrow?
May suit you if you have a clear repayment plan, have read the total cost in the disclosure statement, and want a fixed installment schedule.
Think twice if your income is irregular, if you may need to roll over the loan, or if you are borrowing to pay another loan. Missing due dates on any online lending app can lead to added charges and repeated collection contact.
