How to Delete Your Tekcash Account and Data
Short answer: Pay off any balance, then send Tekcash a written request to close your account and delete your personal data, and ask for written confirmation. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or your data. Tekcash has not published a self-service deletion process in the sources we checked, so email is the safest route.
Note: TEKCASH (tekcash.app) is an independent comparison website. We are not the Tekcash lending app, we are not affiliated with Tekwang Lending Corp., and we do not make loan decisions. Store listings and registry details were last checked on September 21, 2026; this guide was revised on October 15, 2026.
Before you request deletion
- Settle your loan. An active loan is a record the lender must keep. See how to pay your Tekcash loan.
- Save your own copies of the disclosure statement and payment receipts. You may need proof later.
- Check the app for an account or privacy option under Settings or Profile.
How to ask Tekcash to delete your account
- Email support@tekcash.ph from the contact you registered with, or use in-app live chat (9am–7pm).
- Give your full name and registered mobile number and say you want your account closed and your personal data deleted.
- Ask what data will be kept, why and for how long.
- Ask for written confirmation when it is done and keep it.
Contacts and hours are in our customer service guide.
Sample request
Subject: Account closure and data deletion request – [full name], [mobile number]
I request closure of my Tekcash account and the deletion of my personal data, subject to any records you are legally required to keep. My loan is fully paid. Please tell me which data you will retain and for how long, and confirm in writing once completed.
Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 gives you rights over your personal data, including to be informed, to access it, to object to its processing, and to ask for it to be suspended, blocked, removed or destroyed in certain cases. A lender may refuse part of a request if it must keep records by law. You can learn more from the National Privacy Commission.
Also protect your phone
- Uninstall the app after you receive confirmation.
- Revoke contacts, SMS, storage or location permissions in your phone settings.
- Remove the app’s access from any linked accounts.
- Change passwords if you shared any.
If your request is ignored
Follow up in writing after a reasonable time. If it is still ignored, or your contacts were messaged, file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Steps are in how to report a problem with a loan app and our harassment guide.
Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my Tekcash account?
Settle any balance, then send a written deletion request to support@tekcash.ph from your registered contact, or use any account option in the app. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your data.
Can I delete my account with an unpaid loan?
Lenders generally require the balance to be settled first, because they must keep records of an active debt.
Will Tekcash delete all my data?
Not necessarily. Lenders may need to keep some records for a period under financial and anti-money laundering rules. You can ask what will be kept and for how long.
What are my rights over my data?
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have rights including to be informed, to object, to access, and to request suspension, withdrawal, blocking, removal or destruction of your data in certain cases.
